To use the WhatIsMyBrowser.com API you first need to create an account with us. This will give you an API Access Key to permit you to access it.

Paid Plans

Billing for the larger plans is on a monthly pro-rata basis in Australian Dollars and it's very easy to upgrade or downgrade your plan whenever you want. Try it out. No credit card required.

Monthly Billing

The WhatIsMyBrowser.com API is a recurring subscription service.

You will be billed pro-rata on the 7th day of each calendar month for the previous month's access. You will be emailed a PDF invoice each month detailing your costs and payment.

Annual Billing is available.
We give a 10% discount for annual billing. Please contact us.

Cancel anytime

You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. To change your subscription level, log in to the Accounts System, and click "Change your plan".

To cancel your subscription, send us a message from the Accounts system with "Cancel my account" in the subject line.

Monitor your usage

We provide detailed graphs for your monthly quota usage by logging into the Accounts System.

As you approach the 100% limit, you will be sent a warning email letting you know that you're getting close to exceeding your limit.

What happens if I go over my monthly limit?

Each API end point is metered independently, if you exceed your monthly quota for that end point you won't be able to access it until it resets at the start of the next month (or you increase your plan).

You will not incur any further costs.

Secure & Safe

We use 3Scale to manage your account details and BrainTree to process your payments. Your account details are kept safe and secure. All API requests can be sent over TLS.
